We are in Kiev!!

We arrived in Kiev on Tuesday 1,2009 from Paris, France. We met Ludmila, my sister in Paris and we had a really nice time in Disneyland! We had our appointment on Wensdey 2. It was very frastrating because we were 20 minutes late for appointment. We were told by our fasilitator to wait outside because SDA do not like seeing people inside waiting. Insted we were late and had less time to make a desigine. We still decited to go to see one girl in Berdyansk internat. We are travelling by train tomorrow at 5:00 pm and we will be there on Saturday. We hope to meet her on Monday. We are very excited!!!

Finaly we are traveling!!!

It has been such a long time since I wrote anything on my blog. Actually I was afraid to write anything because every time when we were close to submission of the dossier, it was something wrong and we could not get our travel date. We redo our documents many times. Last BIG problem was with document which has information about square footage of the house. We redo this document 2 times and finally we got appraisal of the house done, which was also difficult to get. The gay who did it made many mistakes and later notary guy made mistake too. we we very close to finish all adoption proses just because it took much longer ( we started in February 2008) and very expensive just to get everything wright.
But finally we are traveling to Ukraine! Our appointment on September 2 at 9:00 a.m.
We also are going to spend 6 days in France, Paris with my sister Luda who join us there. She will help us during all adoption proses taking care about our kids. Dogs went to kennel today. We will miss them. Milo- cat will be with grandmother. So all animals will be alright.
We are very happy! We hope it will an easy trip with no st res and God willing our family will double.

Again our dossier is in Ukraine right now and waiting to be notarized and translated and We Hope to be submitted next Wednesday. We are also thinking to buy a house for a growing family a bigger when we have now. We are waiting if our offer was accepted.

We had couple bad weeks. We were waited to have our dossier submeted but it did not happaned because our Tax retern document was for 2007 and SDA said it needs to be updated, so we got ( Thank you God ) this paper at home and we notirized it and send it to our agency yesterday. We also had to change our homestudy about age of the children. Originaly it was from 0 to 7 and not from 4 to 8. Hopfully it will speed up our submition of dossier. It was very sad news for us. Every week we were hopping thet our dossier was acsepted but it was only promises.
Now we are waiting when we get all documents appostiled. It should be done on Wensday and later they will be send to Ukraine. So we hope now thet our dossier will be submeted in 2-3 weeks.
God bless everybody who is waiting like us. I know how hard it is!!!

March 2,2009- finaly some good news!

We just found out thet our dossier is going to be submeted next week! We are so happy and can not wait untill our dossier finaly be submeted!
We had a busy week selling fings on ebay in order to save some money for the trip and it is going well. We already have extra $400.00 which is really cool to get for stuf which we do not need.
Pray for us please thet our dossier will be submeted next week!

February 17, 2009 completed dossier sent to Ukraine

Our dossier has been sent out to Ukraine today by FedEx. It will take several days till it will be there, hopfully by Friday. And it will take may be 10 days to translate and notarized it. But the most exiting part thet our dossier will be submeted soon! We need to have the photocopy of dossier for brining it with us when we travel to Ukraine, so we will get by mail very soon. God willing it will be fast and smoove!

Last Friday we got our all appostiled documents back! We are very exited!
Now we will wait when they will be sent to Ukraine and be submited!

Busy Monday, but we got the document!

It was very crazy day today, because my husbund took the car in order to get appostile and document about living space from King county, later he drove to our agency to give it to them. I took the kids to school. I went on foot about 40 minutes. It was really uncomfortable! I still feel sick from the trip. I went both way twice, to live Nicholas there and to pick him up from school. I will Never do it again!
But I am very happy thet my husbund went to several places just to get thet last document for oue dossier. I hope to hear good news from Victoria soon. We really ready to add another child to our family!
If John or I thought our family was not under control or that we could not handle parenting another child, we would not be adopting. Thank you to all who support us!

Frastration about one doc.

Hello,we went to buy somethings today for broken bed inIkea, so we can fix it and Nicholas can sleep there. We also wrote several e-mails to realtor, tital compamy about a document which we need to show how much living space we have in our house. One guy has answered already and said he will help with all numbers and all anlther information which needed for comliting thid form. May be on Monday we will know if we can get it or not, but at the same time may be we do not need this document at all.

Waiting for submition of dossier.

Today I spoke with Victoria-adoption counselor from our agency about new document which we need to complete our dossier. And she said that she spoke with the facilitator about it and it seems we do not need any additional documents, but I still very concerned about it because we need to have a doc. which has living space included.
We will see... We hope to get submited in Marth now.
